New energy through collaboration

To support the energy transition, a coordinated industry approach is crucial. Collaborating across the supply chain helps manage risks in developing large-scale infrastructure for a smooth transition to sustainable energy. Our customers lead in investing in low-carbon fuels such as renewable hydrogen and low-carbon ammonia to meet climate regulations. As a logistics service provider to our customers, we proactively develop solutions for future market needs. New energy developments attract new market players, prompting us to seek partnerships to explore opportunities and drive industry transition.

Strategic port partnerships for sustainable growth

Our terminals, located in key European ports, serve as logistics hubs for international energy supply chains. We align our strategies with local ports’ energy transition ambitions, prioritising sustainable economic development, operational safety, and environmental protection in our partnerships. This strategic presence enables our customers to be pivotal in the new energies value chain. Our terminals in the Mediterranean, Hamburg, and the ARA region, in collaboration with local port authorities, aim to develop new energy routes, including hydrogen, contributing to future global trade flows.

We are a founding member of the H2A platform, a platform that focuses on the development of supply chains for green hydrogen imports through the port of Amsterdam.

Shared expertise for continuously improving our business practices

We are a founding member of the H2A consortium alongside key players in the hydrogen value chain. Our senior executives hold board positions at VOTOB and FETSA, contributing to sustainability strategies. We have collaborated with these associations on several research projects examining the tank storage industry’s role in the energy transition. Our Hamburg terminal participates in the ‘Green Economic Dialogue’ and leads an initiative to establish guidelines for clean renewable gas and liquid energy carriers.
