Our 2022 sustainability report is out!
We are pleased to announce the Evos Group’s third annual Sustainability Report, giving an overview of our sustainability ambitions and progress, and an update on our performance in 2022.
We have taken significant steps on our journey to establish a company-wide approach to sustainability. Going forward, we have set ambitious new targets on health & safety, environment, energy reduction, diversity, governance and people engagement.
Some highlights:
- Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduced by 34% compared to 2019 baseline.
- CO2 emission intensity improved by 27% to 4.8 tCO2 per 1,000 cbm of storage capacity.
- Increased use of green electricity at our terminals, from 38% in 2021 to 65% in 2022.
- Lost Time Incidents cut by over 64%. LTIR now in line with sector average (of 0.51).
- Increase in customer satisfaction score from 4.2 to 4.5.
- Sustainability now fully integrated into our business cycle.
- Five ESG standards implemented across all terminals.
- Great use of solar panels at our terminals, with investment in new panels at Algeciras, Malta, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
